Powersoft has introduced several important products and technologies in 2026, expanding its focus beyond high-performance amplification into compact commercial amplifiers, intelligent loudspeakers, advanced transducers and improved system-management software.
For commercial AV integrators—and the businesses that depend on professionally designed audio systems—the common theme is clear: better performance, greater efficiency and more useful technology without unnecessary complexity.
One of Powersoft’s most practical releases this year is the new PRIMA Series, consisting of the PRIMA 164 and PRIMA 324 four-channel amplifiers.
PRIMA was developed for commercial audio systems in which processing, routing and control are already handled by a separate DSP, mixer or AV processor. Instead of adding another layer of redundant signal processing, PRIMA concentrates on reliable, energy-efficient amplification in a compact half-rack enclosure.
This makes the series well suited to applications such as:
Hotels and restaurants
Retail stores
Meeting and conference rooms
Classrooms
Fitness facilities
Small entertainment spaces
Distributed background-music systems
Each channel can be independently configured for low-impedance or high-impedance operation, allowing one amplifier to support conventional loudspeakers, 70V/100V distributed speaker systems or a combination of both.
Powersoft’s Power Sharing technology allows the available output power to be distributed between channels according to the needs of the system. This is particularly useful when one audio zone requires more power than another.
The PRIMA Series also includes automatic setup, Eco Mode and automatic standby. These features can shorten commissioning time and reduce energy consumption when the system is not being used.
Its small size provides integrators with more installation options. A PRIMA amplifier can be mounted in an equipment rack, installed beneath a conference table or discreetly located behind a display where a full-sized amplifier would be difficult to accommodate.
The result is a straightforward amplifier that fills the space between entry-level commercial products and larger DSP-equipped platforms.
Powersoft also introduced MM-FORCE, a new low-frequency driver technology designed for manufacturers developing compact subwoofers.
Available in 8-inch and 10-inch formats, MM-FORCE has an installation depth of less than 80 millimetres. Its extremely shallow design could make meaningful low-frequency performance possible in spaces where a traditional subwoofer would be too deep or bulky.
Potential applications include architectural audio systems, custom residential installations, portable systems and premium automotive audio.
MM-FORCE uses a square, carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer piston to maximize the radiating surface within its compact footprint. It also employs a balanced design in which the moving components dynamically offset one another.
This reduces the mechanical vibration that would normally be transferred into the enclosure or surrounding structure. For manufacturers, that can mean less enclosure reinforcement, reduced vibration and greater flexibility when developing compact subwoofers.
MM-FORCE is an OEM technology, so it will be incorporated into future loudspeakers and subwoofers produced by Powersoft’s manufacturing partners rather than sold as a conventional retail driver.
SPIXEL is another new OEM transducer technology from Powersoft. It is an ultra-compact 2.5-inch full-range driver designed to produce considerably more output and low-frequency extension than its size would normally suggest.
Powersoft states that SPIXEL can extend down to approximately 100 Hz. This allows it to transition to a subwoofer at a relatively low crossover point, simplifying loudspeaker design and helping produce a more cohesive sound.
The driver is particularly interesting for architectural loudspeakers, compact column arrays and other applications where visual impact must be minimized without sacrificing sound quality.
SPIXEL also incorporates Powersoft’s new AnyMATE technology. This gives compatible passive loudspeakers digital identification, monitoring and diagnostic capabilities directly over the existing speaker cable.
Passive loudspeakers have traditionally been the least visible part of a networked audio system. An amplifier may be able to report its own status, but it usually cannot identify the individual loudspeaker connected to a speaker line or provide detailed information about its condition.
AnyMATE is designed to change that.
The technology allows audio, power and bidirectional data to travel over the same speaker wiring. No separate network cable, sensor wiring or local power supply is required at the loudspeaker.
With compatible products, a Powersoft amplifier can potentially:
Identify connected loudspeakers
Monitor their operating condition
Assist with system diagnostics
Support faster service and maintenance
Record important operating information
This could be particularly valuable in large commercial facilities, hotels, entertainment venues, transportation systems and other projects containing many loudspeakers across multiple areas.
AnyMATE is currently an enabling technology rather than a universal feature across all Powersoft products, but it offers an interesting look at the future of intelligent distributed audio.
Powersoft’s hardware announcements are accompanied by a major update to its ArmoníaPlus system-design and management software.
Released in September 2026, ArmoníaPlus 3.0 runs natively on both Windows computers and Apple Silicon Macs. Projects and file formats are shared across the two platforms, allowing a system to be designed on a Mac and commissioned or serviced from a Windows computer without converting the project.
Powersoft has also improved performance when working with larger systems containing many amplifiers, loudspeakers and control components. Interactive Tuning has been optimized to respond more quickly, helping technicians make adjustments with less delay.
For integrators and live-production professionals who prefer Apple hardware, native macOS support has been a long-awaited improvement.

Powersoft’s 2026 releases show the company moving toward a more complete audio ecosystem.
The PRIMA Series provides a practical amplifier for smaller commercial systems. MM-FORCE opens new possibilities for shallow, high-performance subwoofers. SPIXEL brings full-range performance and monitoring intelligence to an unusually small driver. AnyMATE extends data communication all the way to the loudspeaker, while ArmoníaPlus 3.0 improves the design and management experience across both Windows and macOS.
Not every project needs the most powerful amplifier or the longest list of features. The best system is the one designed around the space, the intended use and the client’s long-term requirements.
