Downtown Condo Luxury Home Theatre in Calgary

Located in the heart of Calgary, Alberta, Canada this condo was renovated with forethought given to a dedicated home theatre room.

Attending a needs assessment meeting with this very discerning client, High Definition Technologies Inc. was challenged with

creating a spectacular looking, clutter free room where you can put your devices away and enjoy an all encompassing theatre

experience. It had to be simple to use with a single remote so the push of a button would start the entertainment!

Our project manager worked closely with the clients, the renovation company and the other trades involved in developing this space

out into an unbelievable theatre room, in a condo!

There was close attention to detail in hiding the equipment and speakers, providing silent ventilation and designing the speaker layout

to best match the room. The result is an easy to use stunning looking theatre system where you can grab a snack and a drink, sit

back, relax and be totally immersed in the movie experience.

Home Theatre - Screen & Projector

This theatre room was outfitted with the JVC DLARS2000 DILA projector. This award winning JVC projector has captured the heart of many home

theatre enthusiasts as the image quality looks stunning with 4k Ultra HD resolution.

To receive the image from the JVC the theatre was outfitted with an acoustically transparent ScreenInnovations Zero Edge "Slate" fixed screen. This

screen is specifically designed to reject ambient room light so you can view your theatre in a lit room and is acoustically transparent so the speakers can

be hidden behind the screen without affecting the sound quality.

Home Theatre - Speakers

As part of our needs assessment meeting. High Definition Technologies will take an inventory of the client's current electronics and speakers and reuse

components where and if they will fit into the overall system design. In this case we were able to reuse the client's Canadian designed Totem

loudspeaker as they nicely fit the specifications required for this space. The subwoofers were selected from the American made "Triad Speakers" known

for custom building speakers to suit a specific design.

Home Theatre - Surround System

This theatre system is powered by an AnthemAV Dolby Atmos surround sound receiver. This receiver is known for high quality amplification and comes equipped with one of the worlds best room calibration systems (ARC). Once the room is complete and the furniture is in place we perform an in depth room measurement and calibration to ensure the best possible sound quality.
